Calming Earthy Sage Green Kitchen

About this project

This kitchen, private from the rest of the first floor, offers a warm and awakening space to start your mornings. Between the light sage green cabinetry, to the rich dark floors and island stools, there's a color and material contrast that frames the space effectively, but doesn't go too overstated. The intricate, detailed wicker overhead light fixture offers some texture to the space. Beyond the prep and cooking surfaces, this space features a fine Taj Mahal counter-topped island, that offers a casual place to share a meal, or read your morning paper. Adjacent to the sliding doors, lays a compact desk area that allows space for opening up your computer, leaving your calendar, but avoiding clutter!
